The Background Screening Processor trains in various roles within the Background Screening Department as it relates to background checks, occupational health, and verification services.

 

General Duties & Responsibilities

 

Background Screening Processors will work with one of our Front End/Occupational Health, Courts, or Verifications teams in a variety of ways to process the background check.

 

Duties: (note, this is not an exhaustive list, and each processor is trained within the team with the immediate need for staffing):

  • Social security trace and address history reviews
  • Criminal record searches
  • Employment, education, reference verification checks,
  • Occupational Health Services
  • International criminal and verifications searches
  • Motor vehicle records

All employees are required to become FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) certified within 60 days of employment.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in office automation software, including Chrome or Firefox & Microsoft
  • Office components such as Outlook, Excel & Word.
  • Thorough knowledge of report processing including development, quality control and customer service, as well as knowledge of general department operations.

Work Environment

 

Typical office environment, depending on the Covid-19 Pandemic trends there may be opportunities when necessary to work remote once the 90 day probationary period is successfully completed.

 

Physical Requirements

 

Light; may spend extended periods at terminal.

 

Shift Requirements

 

Office is open 7:00 am-6:00 pm CST

Ability to work flexible hours as assigned is required- typical shift is 8:00-5:00 with a rotating schedule of 7:00-4:00 and 9:00-6:00.

There may be the option to work 4 10 hour days, depending on the need and demand of our clients and workflow.
