Data Facts, Inc. Honors Top Performers at Awards Ceremony

Data Facts Inc, a nationwide provider of background screening and mortgage lending information solutions, recently recognized its 2017 top performers.

The Eagle Award, honoring the Account Executive who closed the largest amount of new business in the previous calendar year, went to Julie Henderson, the Director of Sales for the Background Screening Division.

The recipient of The Lynne Lucy Legacy Award was Michelle Avery. The Lynne Lucy Legacy Award is awarded annually to the operations employee who delivers exceptional customer service throughout the year. Michelle, a TRV/SSA/VOE Specialist, was thrilled to accept this award. “I am truly honored to be the recipient this year. I am proud to be part of our team!”

The Shining Star Award is awarded annually to the top-performing administrative person who has shown exemplary integrity, consistency, and work ethic. This year’s Shining Star Award recipient was Compliance Manager Susan Blackwood.

For the first time ever, the Rookie of the Year Award went to two new employees who “really stepped up and immediately made a difference.” This year’s winners were Billy Sprague, Data Facts’ National Account Executive for the Background Screening Division and John Athan, a Data Facts' Background Screening Specialist.

The President’s Award is not a yearly award and only given at the President’s discretion. It’s awarded to the person who, over time, has gone the extra mile over and over. Lindsay Stewart, the Accounting and HR Director, received the 2017 President’s Award for her unwavering commitment to Data Facts’ success.

The Lynne Lucy Award and the Shining Star Award recipients are chosen by nominations from co-workers, and then the winner is determined by the CEO and EVP, Daphne Large and Julie Wink. The night’s top award, The Diamond Award, is chosen from the winner of the Eagle Award, Lynne Lucy Award, and the Shining Star Award. Susan Blackwood snagged this prestigious award for her exemplary work on the compliance team. “I’m blessed and appreciative to work for a company that rewards employees this way,” Susan commented after the ceremony.

CEO Daphne Large and EVP Julie Wink strongly believe in recognizing the top performers at Data Facts. “Our success begins with our people. We want to acknowledge those who demonstrate outstanding leadership and commitment to Data Facts, and who are truly extraordinary,” comments Large about this year’s winners.

This year’s awards were presented to honorees during a banquet on Friday, January 12th at Holiday Inn, University of Memphis. The entire company was in attendance.
