Tammy Henry is Vice President of Client Success at Data Facts and has more than 40 years of experience in HR and background screening. She knows what HR teams deal with because she spent decades leading them.
Tammy spent 27 years at Walmart in HR leadership roles. For nine of those years, she ran the criminal background screening program for the nation's largest private employer. In her final year, her team of 23 ran 1.75 million background checks.
She then served as Vice President of Retail and Hospitality at First Advantage, where she led the teams supporting Fortune 200 retailers and hospitality brands, up to and including the largest company on the Fortune 500.
At Data Facts, she leads the team that partners with clients every day, and that team keeps 98.6% of its clients. Her goal is to help employers hire safely, stay compliant with the FCRA and fair chance laws, and treat candidates fairly along the way.
Tammy is a strong advocate for second-chance hiring. She has spoken at DisruptHR Memphis and writes regularly on LinkedIn about clean slate laws, skills-based hiring, and how to choose a screening partner. She holds an Advanced FCRA certification from PBSA and held her SPHR for nearly 20 years. She is based in Memphis and is active in SHRM Memphis and PBSA.
