Smart Ways to Honor Women's History Month in March

womens history month 2021As a women-owned business, Women’s History Month is especially important to us. We are thrilled to do business as women, to raise our daughters, encourage our sisters, and cheer on our nieces and granddaughters to be what they dream they can be. The women who came before us made these opportunities possible.

Here are some of our favorite quotes that celebrate women and their hope, success, determination, and opportunities.

Want to Make A Difference for Women?

Honor Women’s History Month by doing one or more of these ideas to encourage other females’ confidence and success.

Volunteer with women. There are tons of wonderful non-profits that help women move forward in life. Women’s shelters, educational opportunities, and helping them find affordable housing are a few examples. There's sure to be more than one worthy organization in your area that could benefit from your time.

Mentor a young woman. Help shape the future by spending some time with young women. Assist them in career planning, take them to work with you, or show them how to manage a budget. Another fun idea is to help them create a vision board so they can focus on what they want to accomplish in the future. The sky’s the limit!

Give money to a worthy cause. There are women across the world who can benefit from your financial assistance. Donate some cash to one that helps women get educated or find gainful employment, either in your town or across the globe.

Use kind words. It costs nothing and take almost no time to compliment a woman on a job well done. Offer a smile and a word of encouragement to your local cashier, restaurant server, janitor, or parking attendant. You may be surprised how much that small act of kindness means to the recipient.

Enjoy these quotes and keep them in mind when you’re watching for your chance to raise women up and help them on their path to success. Who knows, you may inspire them to do the same to someone else!
